I am wondering if any expansions do come out we are going to have new civilisations.
    Possible Ideas
    Celts
    Suebi
    Dacians
    Hispanics
    Armenians
    Mauryans
    Scythians
    Sarmatians
    Xiongnu
    Kush (Ancient Nubia)
    Askum (Ancient Ethiopia)
    Nabataeans
    Sabaeans

    • Flavia

and some more europe:Civs for epic battles between the roman and the “northern” forces:

      Gallic
      Germanic
      Goths
      Britons

      • Adam Baker

I would merge the Gauls and Britons into the Celts so that there is room for the Dacians

        • Ender emy

          please YES

    • Kastrenzo

why does the game need more factions when the models are all the same for all the units, and it only has 4 building styles divided between them.

Unless they do it like AOE2RM where there were a few units that had different skins based on their civilization, its pointless to add more

  • Flavia

It would be nice to have a “castle” and a special unit for every civ. Also the wonders should look different for every civilization. And more technologies!

    • Bala Arizalu Putra Dinar

      No

    • There’s this really cool game called Age of Empires 2 that has castles and special units. You should look into it if you want that stuff!!

  • Alexander Pierce

Are planning to make expansions for it in the future?

    • Bala Arizalu Putra Dinar

      Maybe

  • Cristofer Erlandsson

Trying to compete with starcraft who are remastering brood war as we speak? GL with that 😛 Especially when you releasing something on a platform with 0 people interested in AoE. Go with steam again, I dont think they mind at all. Microsoft has a few products there and as long as they get their cut steam will be fine. Thats where the players are however if this is released on Microsoft store it will flop, believe me.

    • 0? Fat chance. Plenty of people interested.

  • Mateusz Frycz

MAC version please! seriously I’v got lots of friends who loves it but use MAC’s

!guys sign under if you want it to, maybe one day they will do something about it !

    • Alexander Pierce

Do you really think that Microsoft(windows’s owner) might even consider publishing it on mac.

      • Mateusz Frycz

They made AoE 3 also for Mac ! but I see forgotten e sadly skips Mac users I hope they will come back to it !

        • Alexander Pierce

With Windows 10 being the best os for gaming as microsoft says, I don’t think that they’ll release it for mac.

  • Woody Madman

Will get this for 100% if released on Steam. If not, keep it to yourself on your microcrap store island 🙂

    • Alexander Pierce

Why do you hate Windows Store?

  • Alex

can you make it playable under windows7?

    • Alexander Pierce

      Hmm… no, I don’t think so.

  • CptGallium

This is not going to be on Steam?!?! This is just like Halo Wars 2, I was really excited to hear about it just to be disappointed. I only buy PC games from steam so I hope your happy because your not going to get my money.

  • Alexander Pierce

Are there going to be female settlers?

    • No female villagers are planned.

      • Alexander Pierce

Why? It won’t change the gameplay from how it was originally intended.

      • Alexander Pierce

Wait… now that I think about it, it makes total sense, not adding female villagers that is.

        • Ansuman Satapathy

          no shirt xD ?

  • Alexander Pierce

Please don’t bring it to steam, I love Windows Store.
