AoE2 – The Shining Star of Hungary by Bert Beeckman | Aug 20, 2016 | Age of Empires II | 5 comments Image created by SchwarzDahlie Happy Saint Stephen’s Day to all our Hungarian fans! We hope you all enjoy conquering the Age of Empires II battlefields with the Magyars on this day! What is your favourite feature of the Magyars in Age of Empires II HD? Pablo Bettanzzo Villagers kill wolves with 1 strike God I hate wolves Any new proyect from the team? kazhioHD Yesss!!! I am not much of an empires player…, but I like a lot AOM. I hope that you have more proyects for that game. New Civs would be awesomeeee!!!! kazhioHD I know that chinese wasn t so good, cool civilization but the campaign wasn t good enough. But you are a good team and I know that have more awesome ideas for AOM. There is only room for improving!!!!! EJ Khazara Definitely my favourite civ. Before FE it was the Vikings and Mongols but also enjoyed playing with the Aztecs and Goths. But being a Magyar myself, I haven’t been able to play with much else since the expansion came out, although I have tried all the civs at least once. I guess I’m making up for lost time since I’ve always believed that the Magyars should always have been included if not in the original game but at the very least in the Conquerors Expansion. The Huns never belonged in the game since they disappeared before the middle ages even began. The Magyars on the other hand figured into the Middle Ages heavily as soon as they arrived in Europe in the feudal age. Then they battled with the Mongols and Ottoman Turks for hundreds of years until the end of the middle ages. To not have included them in this game (but include the Huns) was a huge insult and terrible historical ignorance. I would argue that in the middle ages, the Magyars were one of the top 5 civs in Europe along with the Brits, French, Teutons, and Byzantines. LuchoUy @Cysion What are you working on now?
