13 years. It’s been 13 years since the release of Age of Mythology on PC. And 12 years since the release of its expansion pack: The Titans. But for great games like Age of Mythology, these years are merely a number. It’s time for a new expansion pack! With the collective experience and with expansions for the Age of Empires II series, Age of Mythology almost feels like the next logical step, although next time we probably shouldn’t wait over a decade before taking on the challenge 😉
Many of you already guessed it after the sneaky teaser at E3 and a lot of speculation has been seen across the community boards, but now the word is officially out: Age of Mythology: Tale of the Dragon is being created by Forgotten Empires and SkyBox Labs and will be the next part in the legendary series.
Many players take Viagra, but you need to correctly calculate the dose and buy only high-quality generic Viagra.

We’re not diving into a lot of detail here, but we’ll quench your thirst for more soon on a livestream. So make sure to tune in on www.twitch.tv/ageofempires on October 2nd (exact time will be posted later). See you there!
As other people have suggest, ancient India would probably also work very well. The Hindu pantheon seems quite diverse, they’ve got a really distinctive architectural style to differentiate them from the other cultures as well
I swear to god, if Microsoft makes this exclusive to Windows 10 and their retarded “Windows Store” like Fable Legends, I will kill myself.
Otherwise, it looks great!
It will most likely be steam bought, extremely unlikely for it to be Win10
Steam is fully compatible with Windows 10—I just got my free upgrade, and Steam still works like a charm on it!
But still, I agree, if you have Steam on Windows, you should be able to get this DLC regardless of which version number you’re using.
(The reason I still stipulate WINDOWS computers, not Mac or Linux/Unix/SteamOS, is that the original Age of Mythology was a MICROSOFT GAME STUDIOS production.)
The base game is on Windows 7 / 8. As an expansion, it would make 0 sense to make it Windows 10 only.
Good. I’m tired of Micro$oft pushing their “apps” agenda on its users in Windows 8 and 10… It’s retarded.
First off, Windows 10 is great. Cortana, the Virtual Personal Assistant, is quite cool, being fully capable of activating ALL your installed apps via voice commands. If it’s installed on your computer, and doesn’t go through an intermediate program (like AOMEE goes through Steam) Cortana can activate and control it directly, all via voice command. Windows 7/8 certainly didn’t have anything like Cortana. It’s also easy as hell to set reminders, identify your current location, search, bring up maps, and etc. with her assistance. Oh, and she’s witty as hell. Her quips could beat Siri’s in a contest of wit… Read more »
Seriously? Cortana? I don’t give a shit. I am using a desktop, not a mobile phone.
I don’t have installed “apps” since I don’t use them.
Cortana comes default with the Windows 10 OS, so you’ll get her when you update to Windows 10, though you can switch her off if you so desire. And all “computer programs” as you probably call them, are actually called “computer applications” or “apps” for short. So yeah, you are using apps. Every time you turn on a computer, to do something other than just look at the screen, you’re using apps. And even if you are just looking at the screen, your computer’s desktop picture was probably changed from the default. If so, you set it using Control Panel.… Read more »
Good job, Microsoft fanboy/shill. How much are they paying you?
“app” = those shitty “metro apps” that come from the retarded Windows Store.
PROGRAM = professional desktop software.
Stop telling me Control Panel is an “app” simply because Mickeysoft decided to start calling everything “desktop app” in Windows 10.
A. They aren’t paying me. B. Get with the times. C. In these modern times, “App” is actually shorthand for “computer application”. D. Computer Application = Computer Program. E. Many of the same programs that are available for smart phones, are available on PC and vice-versa. This is only possible because the OS used is essentially the same. F. Don’t you dare tell me that AVG and Avast!, two of the most successful antimalware companies in the world, who develop computer programs PROFESSIONALLY, also make “shitty metro apps” which do the same job for your phone, and do it just… Read more »
First off, Microsoft ain’t paying me a single red cent to praise them. Second, don’t tell me that the same exact software ported from computers to smartphones and developed by professional companies (such as AVG’s malware protection suite or the Avast! lineup of the same) aren’t computer programs. ‘Cause I know they are. When ported to a mobile device, do they suddenly lose credibility because they are now a “shitty metro app”? Sorry, the correct answer to that is HELL NO THEY DON’T! And when “shitty metro apps” like certain mobile games (looking at you, Candy Crush!) come to the… Read more »
First off, I’m speechless that you got me at least partially right. I am a fanboy. But I’m only a Windows PC fanboy, not a Microsoft fanboy. Customization, optimization, and personalization are the limit, I’m afraid. Only Windows PCs give you full authority to mod your computer as you see fit, or build it from scratch and know that you don’t have to mess with DOS commands like you do with Linux/Unix. Of course, there’s always the option to do so, but there’s also that lovely GUI for the millions of John Does and Jane Does out there who don’t… Read more »
We need Inka expansion!
they were too late for the Age of Mythology timeline (3600 BCE to 500 CE)
Are the white tigers myth units? Or do you think they are some sort of bonus for guarding Chinese TC’s. Also, their units look like monks. I wonder if converting enemy units is making a comeback.
The Tigers are most likely trainable trash units from Monks. Don’t think the Chinese should get Conversion, they played with that idea with the Egyptians and it was a pain in the ass.
good thing i keep a defibrillator next to my desk
Gratz !!! for nice work 🙂
hmm,i’m wondering how MS have money to make more content on this 10+ years old games, but wont support AOEO that was proper AOE title ???…
for new civ ideas: Mayan,Chines,Aborigini,Incas,Babylonian,Romans,Persians,Mezopotamians,Aztecs
wait is finally over!! my favorite game is coming back! can’t wait to buy the game!
Age of Mythology: Tale of the Dragon will be a DLC for Extended Edition or a new game? & please make it as long as possible because I don’t want to end it in one day 😀
dlc
Can;t stop thinking about this. Brain storming some possible ideas:
1) One resource collection site for all Chinese villagers. Granary + wood + gold.
2) Heroes are monks of various of kinds. Conversion, warriors, ETC.
3) Bonus to walls. Maybe even walls that can fire arrows and no towers. Make this a more defensive civ.
4) Archers that are slower, but more powerful than any other archers in the game.
5) Really inexpensive mongolian raiders that heal a little when they kill other units.
A godpower (terrcotta warriors?) that turns some of your enemy soldiers into stone. Then a few minutes later they come to life and you control them.
Why would the chinese civ have mongolians in there army when they where one of the greatest enemies to the chinese dynasty, the reason they built that bloody wall.
always online or not ? comes in steam or win 10 exclusive ? any of those can kill my hype and i forget that it exist.
It won’t always be online
and it’s AoMEE Exclusive, so yeah, no chance for the classic ES version.
AOMEE is a Steam exclusive. It doesn’t require Windows 10.
i know but you know! it’s microsoft they might do it, they might release some sort of stand alone expansion for it and release it as win10 only
